PDF — Shell Top — Digital Pattern

Welcome to the Shell Top pattern! I designed this top by the beach in Sri Lanka, it is inspired by all the beautiful shells I found. I wanted to try something new, so I started by crocheting two shells. After lots of trial and error figuring out how to connect them, this cute little top was born. This pattern is part of my GIRLHOOD collection—perfect for sunny days, to feel girly, cute, and confident. Hope you love this unique design as much as I do!

YARN & MATERIALS:
This pattern works well with any cotton DK or Aran yarn. You’ll need approximately 400 meters of yarn to complete the top, depending on your size and strap length.

STITCHES & TECHNIQUES USED:
- Long Tail Foundation Chain
- Chain: CH
- Single crochet: SC
- Double crochet: DC
- Slip stitch: SL ST
- Front post double crochet: FPDC
- Back post double crochet: BPDC
- Shell stitch: Shell ST
- V-stitch: V-ST

DIFFICULTY:
Beginner to intermediate level. This is a great project to explore shell stitch and simple shaping in a fun, customizable summer top.
