Hi, I’m Marso, a French Canadian who loves surfing and crocheting! A few years ago, I decided to chase my dream of surfing and left my family home to travel across the country in my van. Living the vanlife has allowed me to embrace a simple and nomadic lifestyle, fulfilling a childhood dream that I truly love. While this way of life brings me lots of happiness, it also presents the challenge of finding ways to work while traveling. Spending so much time on the road led me to the idea of starting my own crochet brand.

I like simple things. I value our planet Earth, and living outside with nature makes me want to be even more responsible. That’s why sustainability is at the core of Marsombrero. Everything I create is handmade by me, and I ensure that every aspect of my brand reflects this commitment to sustainability. From the materials I choose, to the packaging I use, I want to minimize my environmental impact.

My brand is based on custom products, and I recently started documenting my process. A new passion of mine is creating patterns so people can create their own pieces at home. I write my patterns as simply as possible with pictures to make them easy to follow. Since then, I’ve been challenging myself with new designs and new items, which has only fueled my creativity further.
