Atlântico Crochet Headband Pattern — Floral Head Scarf, Boho Bandana PDF — Strong Beginner pattern

Welcome to the Atlântico Headband pattern! Inspired by slow summer days by the Atlantic Ocean in Portugal, this design brings together one of my favorite crochet motifs in a fresh new way. The flower motif used throughout this pattern has been part of my crochet journey for years. I’ve incorporated it into many of my creations, and this summer I wanted to give it a new life by turning it into a lightweight, vintage-inspired headband. Whether worn as a headband, head scarf, decorative belt, or tied onto a bag, this versatile accessory adds a handmade touch to any outfit. Its delicate lacy look may seem intricate, but the construction is surprisingly simple and relaxing to crochet. 🌸 Yarn & Materials

Recommended yarn: Sport weight yarn.

Suggested yarn: I used around 150 meters (50g) of the Granola yarn by Les Laines Biscottes (Louise Robert Collection) Each skein is 100 g / 300 m, which corresponds to a sport weight yarn. You can use any similar sport weight yarn with a 3.00mm crochet hook.

🌸 Sizing & Customization

Each flower square measures approximately 6.5 × 6.5 cm.

The length of the headband is fully customizable by simply adding or removing flower motifs. I personally joined 17 motifs, but you can easily adjust the length to fit your head or style preference.

This versatile design can also be worn as a scarf, decorative belt, bag accessory, etc.

Although the floral motif may look complicated, it’s made using simple stitches and repetitive rounds, making it an enjoyable project for confident beginners and experienced crocheters alike. The pattern includes clear written instructions, step-by-step photos, and helpful notes throughout.
